MY
ICON
In
our culture, we consider brave and strong people as our hero. In their fearless
and manful acts, we are in awe to them.
As
a youth in this modern and technological world, simple and amazing acts are now
what we wonder and consider as our heroes. We admire and idolize them and even
tried to do what they do or wear what they wear. Simply, we are trying to imitate
them.
I,
also, have my own modern day hero. She’s the root of my generation and the root
of my life. She is my grandmother. There are two main reasons why she is my icon:
first, she’s a teacher. We all know that teachers are great for they sacrifice
a lot of their time and efforts for the young people. And because of them, we
are supported and helped for our future. Second, she took care of me in the
most complicated stage of my life, my high school life. In the absence of my
parents, she guided me. And I dedicate to her the success of my studies as a
token to her goodness and greatness to me.
